About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Florence, Oregon .

Assignment Details:

• Start: Orientation on September 17, 2026
• Clinical coverage begins September 18, 2026
• Assignment approved through January 25, 2027
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour daytime shifts
• Night and weekend call required
• Combination of hospital and clinic coverage
• Working as the solo Orthopedic Surgeon
• Adult and pediatric patients
• Average volume: approximately 2 hospital patients and 12–20 clinic patients per day

Requirements:

• Active Oregon medical license required at the time of presentation
• BLS certification
• Recent EPIC experience within the past 6 months
• Recent clinical activity within the past 24 months
• Case list demonstrating at least 100 relevant cases/procedures within the past 24 months
• Orthopedic trauma experience within the scope of requested privileges
• Clean malpractice history strongly preferred

Practice Setting:

• Critical Access Hospital
• Inpatient and clinic responsibilities
• Rounding and admissions required
• Hospital and clinic privileges
