Job Summary Within a patient-centered culture, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist providers and nursing staff, deliver optimal patient care, and work with others to achieve efficient clinical and business operations. The LPN performs both clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Job Skills: Possesses sufficient skills to perform the job efficiently and effectively. Demonstrates skills and knowledge in day-to-day situations, including the use of equipment associated with job responsibilities. Performs patient care as well as administrative tasks. Productivity: Meets established productivity standards for the position or department. Prioritizes multiple tasks, completes assignments per protocol or as directed, and embraces new and innovative approaches to improve efficiency. Understanding Roles and Responsibilities: Takes responsibility for clarifying job responsibilities, including performance standards and expectations. Communicates with supervisor regularly to ensure clear measurement of performance. Seeks clarification when responsibilities are unclear, willingly accepts change, and will work in clinics across the physician enterprise as needed. Travel required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Heavy Work – Exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly.
