Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ needs and create individualized treatment plans to support fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to adapt curricula and help foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide valuable input regarding student progress and future goals
• Educate school staff and families about occupational therapy interventions and strategies
