Applied Behavior Analysis (RBT) Supervisor Job Type: Part-time, full-time Location: San Mateo Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Work Setting: Travel (includes in-home hours and some telehealth) Schedule: M-F sessions anytime from 8 AM – 8 PM PST and/or weekends The Applied Behavior Analysis (RBT) Supervisor position provides clinical supervision and oversees ABA program implementation by Behavior Technicians. The supervisor develops individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA, Licensed Individual, or Clinical Director, ensuring evidence‑based interventions tailored to each client’s needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement personalized ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or delays in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary professionals. Deliver individual and group learning experiences to help clients achieve treatment goals. Train, supervise, and guide Behavior Interventionists, reviewing client progress and goals regularly. Conduct assessments (e.g., VB‑MAPP, ABLLS‑R, Vineland‑III), define target behaviors, and establish goals with BCBA or Licensed Clinical Supervisor guidance. Develop and manage behavioral intervention plans that promote adaptive skills and functional communication in home, school, and community settings. Empower parents, caregivers, and support staff by modeling and teaching intervention strategies that integrate into daily routines. Analyze data, evaluate progress, and provide written reports to ensure strategies remain effective. Establish and maintain supportive relationships with clients, families, and staff, promoting collaboration. Manage ABA session schedules, making adjustments or cancellations as needed for consistent service delivery. Meet regularly with families and caregivers in‑home to review progress and refine intervention strategies. Work primarily with children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Basic Qualifications + 2 years of professional experience in behavior modification intervention services or a similar role. Availability to work a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings with some weekend/morning availability). Requires a criminal background check, physical exam, TB test, CPR & First Aid certification, reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and driver’s license. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field. Eligibility to work in the U.S. Requires travel within the county. Nice to Have Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT).
