Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Acute Care

Registered Nurse – Clinical

Shift: 1800 - 0630, 7 shifts per pay period

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
A valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire
National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages and their families.
Support patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
COVID & flu exemptions may be accepted after a declination form is submitted.
Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
