Job Description

Construction Estimator - New London, CT

5-10+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
Experience with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
General knowledge of Building and Construction codes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

Proficiency in commercial construction Estimating, including estimating and hard bid processes.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cost estimates
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
Experience with design/build projects and familiarity with ground-up construction.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and resources.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
