This full time, exempt-level position prepares manufacturing labor hour reports/compilations, assists in financial/bank audits; in addition to, entering standard and non-standard journal entries, General Ledger account reconciliations, Chart of Account & Financial Statement knowledge and maintenance. The position reports to the Corporate Controller. About The Division The Bossier City location was established in 1963, and is the location for our corporate departments, as well as our first manufacturing facility and a McElroy Service Center onsite. Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F Responsibilities General Ledger – Basic fundamental knowledge of the GL, to include: Journal Entries: format and processing Account Reconciliations: reasoning and reviews Chart of Accounts: format and function Financial Statements: format and function Labor Hours and Manufacturing reports/compilations Property/Vehicle lease classification and accounting ASC 842 knowledge and/or understanding a plus, but not required Experience/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but applicable accounting/finance experience will be considered Individual must be dependable, detail oriented, well organized, and able to meet strict deadlines Knowledge/Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP software Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel preferred.
