This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in our financial department, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Inventory Accounting, General Ledger, and Excel. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities: As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including month-end and year-end close process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Coordinating and completing annual audits. Providing recommendations for improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. Assigning projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. Meeting financial accounting objectives. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Qualifications: To be considered for the role of Accounting Manager, you will need to have: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong Inventory accounting Advanced General Ledger (GL) & Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc) A strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns. The ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
