In this position, you will be expected to perform ER investigations, maintain employee relations policies and procedures, handle employee grievances, and provide support to managers and employees on HR-related matters to ensure a productive and engaged workforce.## **WHAT YOU’LL DO:*** Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances* Maintain employee relations policies and procedures* Provide support to managers and employees on employee relations issues* Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management* Conduct employee relations training programs* Gather and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues* Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations* Manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes* Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives## **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:*** Proven work experience in employee relations or similar role* Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations* Experience in conflict resolution and mediation* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to handle confidential information* Excellent organizational and time-management skills* Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies* Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement* Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills## **WHAT YOU BRING TO US:*** Two to Five years of experience in an employee relations or workplace investigation environment.* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field* Union experience preferred* Certified as SPHR or PHR preferred## **WORKING CONDITIONS:*** General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
