Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities throughout the Richmond area. This permanent opportunity offers varied shift options, competitive hourly pay, and possible relocation assistance. Four positions are available for qualified radiologic technologists.

Location

• Richmond, VA
• Candidates must live within 30 minutes of Richmond.
• Mobile role requiring travel to healthcare facilities.

Job Type

• Full-time, permanent
• 4 open positions

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts; flexible scheduling available.
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (2 positions).
• Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
• Weekend schedules: Thursday–Saturday, Friday–Sunday, or Saturday–Monday, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM.
• Employer is open to discussing other shifts.
• Weekend coverage depends on workload and may result in overtime.
• On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.

Pay Range

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images as ordered by physicians.
• Transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Scan examination-related paperwork and billing documents according to established procedures.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, facility staff, and clients.
• Maintain imaging equipment and the assigned vehicle.
• Follow operational procedures and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Virginia radiologic technologist license required; limited licenses are not accepted.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of Richmond, VA.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or appropriate documentation must be submitted for an exemption.
• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs, with ramps and pulleys available to help reduce the load.
• Comfortable traveling between healthcare facilities and performing mobile imaging services.
