Paralegal / Legal Assistant

JOB SUMMARY Duration : 6 Months Contract role with a possible extension The paralegal in this position will assist the section and support all attorneys with research, organization, court filings, and tracking of cases in administrative, state, and federal courts; will assist with research and track legislation. Performs related work as required. Legal research for litigation cases and opinions. Review and manage litigation documents. Drafting documents for litigation cases and opinions. Compiles, annotates, and indexes provisions of statutes, cases, and administrative decisions. Reads and interprets state, federal and local codes, laws and regulations. Calendar and docket court appearances, all hearings, depositions in Legal Files and Outlook calendars. Legislative tracking. Receives and screens a variety of correspondence, telephone calls, and visitors. Other duties as assigned as related to the position’ #J-18808-Ljbffr
