Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer specializing in PolicyCenter implementations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in integration development , deep functional understanding of Commercial Lines , and solid experience with Workers' Compensation products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter modules
- Build and maintain complex integration points (SOAP/REST, messaging, plugins, batch, GScript)
- Configure business rules, workflows, and UI components within the Guidewire suite
- Collaborate with product owners and SMEs for Commercial Lines & Workers Comp requirements
- Debug, optimize, and improve performance of Guidewire components
- Support end-to-end implementation phases including design, testing, and deployment
- Ensure code quality and maintain best practices across Guidewire development
- 4+ years hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development
- Strong experience with Integrations (GOSU, web services, messaging, plugins)
- Proven domain knowledge in Commercial Lines
- Workers' Compensation experience is mandatory
- Familiarity with Guidewire configuration, GScript, data model, Product Model
- Experience with SQL, Git, CI/CD, and integration middleware (optional but beneficial)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote agile environment
- Guidewire Certifications (PC, CC, Integration, Configuration)
- Experience with Cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Guidewire Cloud)
- Exposure to BillingCenter or other P&C systems
