Senior Field Service Specialist

You will plan, develop, implement and monitor project controls functions and control technical and financial resources to optimize short and long-term profitability. You will support all areas of project administration, including provision of technical advice to team members, and will meet customers' needs in ways that improve market position.You will report to the Manager of FHE and Cranes Field Services. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement project plans and control systems, including reporting, controlling and projecting costs and schedules to achieve our goals. Assume responsibility for Westinghouse's performance to contract commitments.Be a single company representative to our customers for field installation projects.Interpret and transmit contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to teams.Maintain project summary level schedules. Provide schedule reporting for Customer progress reports.Coordinate and ensure project work is delivered and within budget.Assume overall responsibility for profitability of contracts. Establish project control budget based on proposal estimate.Coordinate all work activities and motivate to increase performance. Replace or supplement personnel to maintain organizational excellence.Integrate project's goals and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern. Promote projects-wide teamwork, including issuing and maintenance of project process metrics and process maps.Prepare project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections to support project financial reporting requirements. Review project expenditures for compliance with project documents and scope.Report financial status of projects to management, as well as commercial and technical concerns.Maintain project databases and systems to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.Make commercial and performance commitments during negotiations.For international projects, work in cooperation with local Westinghouse in-country representation.Support sites in the field when resource constraints do not allow for in-house or contractor support.Qualifications5+ years discipline-related Project Management experience required.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Ability to travel to remote customer sites to support installations. Expected travel is ~50%.We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
