Patient Registrar

Job Summary The Patient Registrar at Shriners Hospitals for Children is responsible for providing a positive and welcoming first impression for patients and families, accurately collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, and ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support to our patients by working with the caregiver to schedule appointments
• Perform check in and check out procedures
• Respond to messages

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications

1 year scheduling and registration

Clinical experience with knowledge in medical procedures, terminology and documentation

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $27.24. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
