JavaScript Developer

Job TitleHelp invent the next generation of ecommerce; integrated experiences that leverage the store, the web and mobile, with social identity being the glue to work with world-class technologists and product visionaries as a contributing member of core engineering teamResponsibilities:Work with Javascript and other related technologies to design and develop high-performance and scalable applicationsHelp the team leverage and contribute to open source software whenever possible ? be responsible for laying the foundation for the platform as well as proposing solutions to ease software development, monitoring of software, etc.Be excited about making an immediate impact on a global scaleMinimum Qualifications:BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent6+ years of Javascript development experience required3+ years of experience developing javascript backend applications, servers, working on large systemsOversaw deploying applications into production environments for applications that are customer facingExperience with Javascript frameworks (e.g. node.js, express, TypeScript, graphql etc)Experience with containerized environments, Typescript schemas, end to end and unit testing, solutions scoping and executionExperience interfacing with Restful APIsCompetence with Linux, GITExperience with Test-Driven DevelopmentExperience in optimizationsAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Understanding how to translate requirements into executablesGood verbal and written communication skills.Able to work in fast pace high performance development environment.
