Registered Nurse - Medical Progressive Care (Critical Care)

Registered Nurse – Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) Location: Mercy Hospital | Department: Medical Progressive Care | Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time / Nights | Employment Type: Non Exempt Overview Mercy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU). In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with complex medical conditions who require frequent assessments, continuous monitoring, and specialized nursing support. Our MPCU team delivers exceptional care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment aligned with Mercy’s values of service, dignity, justice, excellence, and stewardship. Qualifications Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN) Licensure: Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state, or a compact licensure that meets all state board of nursing requirements Experience: Experience required (details omitted) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – certification through AHA required or completed within 30 days of hire One or more of the following may be required based on unit: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
