Location: Washington, DC 20036

Anticipated Period of Performance:

Start Date: 8/03/2026

End Date:12/31/2006 (potential extension to 7/31/2027)

Position Summary: Senior Functional Analyst (Workday). The primary responsibility of the Technology Services’ (TS) ERP Cloud Solution Delivery team is to maintain and support highly visible cloud systems, Workday, Adaptive Planning and Coupa. For a new travel system implementation project.  We are seeking a skilled Workday Developer to design, develop, and support Workday solutions across reporting, integrations, and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Workday custom reports and dashboards, building and supporting Workday Orchestrate integrations, and creating data models, analytics, and visualizations using Workday Prism Analytics. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
• Coordinates with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction.
• Makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations.
• Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
• Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
• Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
• Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
• Identifies resources required for each task.
• Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.

The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Build and support Workday Orchestrate integrations for a new travel system, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain Workday Prism Analytics data pipelines, datasets, and visualizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, integrations, and analytics solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support Workday releases, enhancements, testing, and production deployments.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience developing Workday reports, Orchestrate integrations, and Prism Analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of Workday Finance business processes, security, and data architecture.
• Experience with Workday integration technologies and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent work ethic and analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in full SDLC for all task order applications and technologies.
