Embark on an enriching experience as a full-time occupational therapist with a contract opportunity supporting elementary students from October 5, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This role involves working Monday through Friday and offers the chance to split your impact between two schools near El Cajon, CA.
You’ll play a vital role in helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and functionally. If you’re passionate about promoting independence and nurturing student development, this position could be an excellent fit as you further your skills in a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Proven ability to manage an elementary caseload
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel between two sites as needed
- Adaptability within dynamic and changing school environments
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver engaging, goal-driven OT interventions tailored to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain timely documentation and contribute to IEP processes
- Participate in school meetings and provide input on accommodations or modifications
- Share expertise with educational teams to foster an inclusive environment
