Join this mission-driven criminal defense attorney’s practice as Legal Assistant/Office Manager. You’ll be the founder’s right hand and will wear many hats from overseeing day-to-day operations to typical legal support tasks. This will include calendar management, scanning and file maintenance, answering incoming calls, client communication, and managing office workflow. Competitive candidates will be organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking. The attorney takes on court-appointed criminal defense cases, and their clients have often been charged with serious crimes. You’ll need to take an empathetic, confidential approach as you communicate with clients and their families. You’ll work in-office in a shared office suite with other attorneys and their staff.
