NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, 5 weekends required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), dedicated to providing comprehensive care for critically ill infants. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to the needs of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage care for patients meeting specific acuity levels.
• Safely handle and care for infants with various medical needs including CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, lab draws, and UAC/UVC placements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to the established medication administration policies.
• Demonstrate developmentally appropriate care for preterm infants and new techniques as necessary.
• Participate actively in communication with family members regarding patient care and conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Experience with NICU procedures and equipment preferred.
• Must be proficient in medication administration and patient assessments.
