Trust & Estates Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estates attorney to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with an established client base, help transition relationships from retiring attorneys, mentor associates, and play an important role in the continued growth and direction of the department. What You'll Do Advise individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning, trusts, special needs, probate, and estate administration matters. Draft and review wills, trusts, estate planning documents and related instruments. Manage estate and trust administration matters from inception through completion. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Help transition and retain an established client base from a retiring attorney. Mentor, guide and develop associates within the Trust & Estates practice. Contribute to the strategic growth and management of the department. Support business development and client-development initiatives. Take on increasing responsibility for leading the department. Contribute to the firm's broader objectives through client satisfaction, business development and practice growth. What We're Looking For Approximately 10 years of substantive Trusts & Estates experience. Strong background in estate planning, drafting, special needs planning, and estate administration. Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated client matters independently. Strong client relationship and communication skills. Experience mentoring or guiding junior attorneys is highly desirable. A demonstrated interest in practice leadership and long-term department growth. A portable book of business is welcome, but not required.
