Certified Peer Recovery Supporter - Part Time

What you'll do at DBH

Peer Support & Encouragement

Utilizes personal recovery experience, when appropriate, to promote hope, encouragement, and motivation throughout the recovery process.

Group Facilitation & Wellness Education

Leads and coordinates recovery-focused groups, teaching coping skills, relaxation techniques, and wellness strategies.

Client Mentorship & Advocacy

Mentors clients/residents through the recovery process by encouraging empowerment, goal-setting, and self-advocacy.

Education & Support Services

Educates clients/residents on available peer services, rights processes, advance directives, and supplemental support programs.

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union) , with a pay range of 27 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule . Working hours are part-time, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM . This position is located within our Summit Behavioral Healthcare location at 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237 .

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after 120 days of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter

Position Qualifications:

Requires current certification as Peer Recovery Supporter in accordance with OAC 5122.29.15.

Primary Skill: Mental Health

Required Educational Transcripts
