RN - PCU Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: Epic charting system experience requiredExperience with liver transplant care preferredCharge nurse experience highly preferred Description:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly focusing on liver transplant and care needs.Administer medications and treatments as ordered.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.Follow established protocols for airway management and dysrhythmias.Ensure adherence to infection control practices.Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge instructions.Demonstrate proficiency in IV management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.Manage the care of patients requiring high flow oxygen and other advanced respiratory support.Contribute to a positive work environment and support the onboarding of new staff.Complete all required training and modules during onboarding. #J-18808-Ljbffr
