Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for NICU patients per the nursing process and established standards.
- Monitor neonates, interpret data, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and respiratory support per orders; manage pain and comfort as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, social work) to coordinate care and plan for disposition.
- Document care precisely in the electronic health record; ensure accurate charting and communication with families.
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed and support staff as assigned; contribute to a safe, efficient unit.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- NICU experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP recommended
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient NICU environment
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork
- Readiness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to a high-acuity unit
