About the job Physical Therapist - PT (PHYT) Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient La Place, Louisiana Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026) weekly Rate: $2179/week (Per Diem) Schedule: Day Shift | 1x8 Hour (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient therapy setting in La Place, LA. This role involves providing patient-centered rehabilitation services, focusing on improving mobility, function, and overall quality of life. The therapist will evaluate patients, implement treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary care team. Facility Information Facility: Ochsner Therapy and Wellness – LaPlace Setting: Outpatient Rehabilitation Work Environment: Collaborative outpatient therapy clinic Clinical Coverage Areas Therapists may treat patients with: Orthopedic conditions Post-surgical rehabilitation Mobility and functional impairments General outpatient rehab cases Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications Active Louisiana Physical Therapist License Strong outpatient clinical skills Ability to work independently in a per diem setting Preferred Qualifications Outpatient therapy experience Strong communication and patient education skills Flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes 1x8-hour shift per scheduled day Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Reserved for Allied Resource Group COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) Compliance Requirements Candidates must complete: Standard onboarding and compliance requirements Facility-specific documentation Why Consider This Assignment Flexible per diem schedule Competitive hourly rate Outpatient clinical experience Work with a respected healthcare organization Great supplemental income opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr
