Unit Secretary/Nursing Assistant II

UNC Health - - Responsibilities: Obtains histories for patients (adult and geriatric) which have implications for treatment of the disease processes for which the patients are being seen; Maintains patients' medical records according to established standards and documents in a systematic, accurate and succinct format; Discusses patient care needs with physician and/or other health professionals when appropriate; Provides patient/family education and counseling with full consideration of patient safety needs under the direction of the supervising physician; Provides assistance to the physician(s) in the operating room and post-operative areas
