Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $27.69 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Reno patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The position works Monday-Friday plus rotating Saturdays, with opportunities for growth within a global diagnostics leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Nevada state-issued laboratory assistant license or filed application at time of hire
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in team environment with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- One or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
Compensation: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour
