Customer Service Representative

The American Academy of Ophthalmology is seeking a Customer Services Representative to provide responsive, high-quality support to members, prospective members, and customers. As a key first point of contact, this role helps resolve questions, process orders and meeting registrations, support membership recruitment and retention efforts, and maintain accurate customer and member records. You will also partner across teams to troubleshoot service issues, improve processes, and help deliver a consistent, professional customer experience. Qualifications Three years of customer service experience and three years of office experience. Two years of experience using Personify or a similar customer relationship management system. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional and service-oriented telephone presence. Proficiency with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office, with strong data entry, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and contribute effectively as part of a team. Two years of college coursework preferred; professional fluency in an additional language, preferably Spanish, is a plus.
