Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery, resilience, and goal achievement.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma-related symptoms.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients explore their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations effectively, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the impact of trauma, coping strategies, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
