Social Worker

Lyngblomsten Care Center, a 225 bed, non-profit nursing facility located near Como Park in St. Paul, has an opening for a salaried, 40 hour a week, Licensed Social Worker to work with our Memory Care and Long Term Care. 

The ideal candidate should be a licensed social worker (or on track to be one) with experience working in a MC/LTC and have a passion for working with the elderly and their family. 



 

The posted pay range of this hourly position is $25.70 to $34.45. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Social Work licensed in Minnesota
• Courteous, kind, trustworthy and engaging demeanor that is easily detected through telephone
• Strong computer, written, verbal and non-verbal skills with an ability to quickly adapt style to the individual consumer
• Strong ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking and prioritization of duties
• Comfortable assisting older adults, those with disabilities, and working in an environment of diverse cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds
• Proven ability to think critically, analytically, independently and within a team with an innovative mindset & an inquiring spirit in order to achieve goals.
