Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a school setting or with children preferred
• Ability to assist students with varying needs and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant coursework is a plus
• Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of an educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups under teacher supervision
• Assist the lead teacher with classroom management, lesson preparation, and materials organization
• Foster positive relationships with students while encouraging engagement and participation
• Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate observations and progress to teachers and support staff as needed
