Flexsys Chemical Manufacturing Position

Position Responsibilities:

• Coordinating safe and efficient operations to meet production and quality targets within budgeted costs
• Supervising unionized wage and salaried non-union personnel
• Budgeting and cost management
• Identifying cost and efficiency improvement opportunities
• Ensuring personnel are adequately trained to perform their jobs
• Directing outside contractors as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering discipline or related technical experience (chemical engineering preferred)
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervision (chemical manufacturing) role
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings
• Must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks at a time
• Analytical skills and a desire to provide "attention to detail"
• Excellent track record of accomplishments demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to produce positive results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Strong change management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP proficiency
• Knowledge of chemical process equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM (Process Safety Management)

Salary Description $155,000 to $165,000
