Position Overview Were seeking a full-time W-2 therapist to join our Farmington Hills team. Youll provide individual, couples, and (as ready) group therapy for clients healing from trauma, betrayal trauma, and behavioral addictions. Must-Have Qualifications To ensure alignment with Thrives mission and commitment to excellence, applicants must meet the following criteria: Education & Licensure Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution Active or limited Michigan license: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, or LMFT Good standing with the Michigan licensing board and eligible for insurance credentialing Clinical Experience Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (internship hours may apply for LLMSW/LLPC) Prior work or strong interest in trauma, couples therapy, infidelity recovery, or behavioral addictions Understanding of or openness to learn trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic frameworks Professional Skills Ability to manage a full caseload with professionalism, organization, and empathy Commitment to ethical, evidence-based care and thorough documentation Comfort collaborating in a team-oriented clinical environment Personal Attributes Deep compassion for clients and their stories Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to supervision and mentorship Desire to advance through Thrives in-house specialized certifications (EMDR, Trauma, CSAT, CCPS, Gottman) Alignment with Thrives core values of healing, authenticity, and integrity Willingness to Learn What We Offer Our Clinicians We know that exceptional therapy begins with exceptional clinician support.
