Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician Needed in Albuquerque, NM

• Duration: Ongoing, with immediate urgent needs for July & future coverage
• Shift: 12-hour in-house shifts (7 am–7 pm), with 24-hour call
• Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours, plus on-call
• Employment Type: Contract, Locum to Perm candidates welcome
• License/Certs: Active New Mexico medical license, NM Board certification, DEA, BLS
• Experience: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, fellowship preferred, clean background

What You’ll Do:

• Perform outpatient and inpatient GI consultations
• Conduct EUS and ERCP procedures
• Manage higher acuity GI cases associated with advanced procedures
• Lead and participate in patient rounds and procedures during scheduled shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, CNMs, FPOBs, and radiology staff
• Ensure continuity of care and maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction

What You Need:

• Active NM medical license
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• Experience with EUS and ERCP procedures
• Ability to work full weeks with 7-14 day stretches
• Strong procedural and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
