Housekeeping Assistant – Nursing Home
Join Our Caring Team!
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our nursing home team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
What You’ll DoClean and maintain resident rooms and common areas
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and other areas
Vacuum, mop, dust, and perform general housekeeping duties
Assist with laundry as needed
Follow infection-control and safety procedures
Properly use cleaning products and equipment
Help maintain a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff
Dependable and responsible
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is helpful but not required
Must enjoy working with and around elderly residents
