Residential Manager

Purpose Provide support, assistance, and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live valued lives in the community by creating a positive home environment. Qualifications Successful completion of required pre‑employment background and drug screening. Valid driver’s license with all necessary endorsements and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Basic computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience working in the human services field (preferred). At least one year of supervisory experience (preferred). Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Essential Functions Identify and report any suspected abuse or violations of an individual’s rights. Ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of individuals are protected at all times. Supervise and maintain a positive team of well‑trained employees who provide support, direction, and oversight to interactions of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provide training and constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring. Ensure implementation of therapy, training, and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals’ plans and regulatory agencies. Ensure the home offers choice and creative activities within a positive innovative person‑directed environment. Monitor ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure all homes, outside areas, and vehicles are well maintained and organized. Communicate orally and in writing with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services, including medical terminology. Perform all other duties as assigned.
