Position Details Position Title: Events Manager Position Number: 0000000 Hiring Range: $18.00 – $22.54 Location: Wilson Hall, Wheelock Street, Hanover, NH Position Purpose House Manages, or supervises the House Management, of public events in the Hopkins Center. Responsible for on-site patron relations. Supports administrative functions of the Hopkins Center Events Office. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience. One year of experience working on-site during live public events, providing access to patrons of all ages and abilities. Two-plus years of administrative experience in an arts related setting; or the equivalent. Preferred Qualifications FLSA: Non-Exempt Employment Category Temporary Part Time Schedule Regular nights and weekend at performing arts events. Uses FileMaker, Microsoft Word, Excel, and specialized ticketing software (AudienceView) to support administrative functions of the office (scheduling; database entry and monitoring; tracking and reporting sales data). Working with Dartmouth Computing, assists in the transition and training needed for planned upgrade of Volunteer Usher website platform. Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
