Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced laboratory tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your employment.
