Overview The Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is a subsidiary of A&M providing financial and accounting due‑diligence, capital markets and advisory services across industries. TAG professionals specialize in buy‑side and sell‑side financial accounting due diligence for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients. The Team TAG works from offices in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. How you will contribute As an Associate you will join a motivated team on projects across manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy, and financial services. You will gain exposure to an integrated due‑diligence approach that goes beyond traditional earnings analysis. Responsibilities Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying key risks, evaluating transaction fit, and assessing strengths and weaknesses versus industry benchmarks. Analyze detailed financial statements and operational data, synthesize findings for discussions with target management. Assess the quality of reported earnings, net assets, and cash flows. Construct deal‑oriented reports and presentations highlighting key findings and their impact on valuation and negotiation points. Participate in meetings and conference calls with target management and client personnel, serving as a point of contact for day‑to‑day execution matters. Build and maintain client relationships and support business‑development opportunities. Qualifications 2‑3 years of audit experience at a top accounting firm and at least one year in a financial accounting due‑diligence group (preferred). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related major. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining one. Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong project‑management skills. Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits The base salary is $100,000 per year (variable with experience, location, and performance), plus a discretionary bonus program.
