Central Sterile Technician – Sterile ProcessingSchedule: Shift: 11am - 7:30pm, with call/lates and weekend requirementsAssignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksRequirements:2 years of Central Sterile/Sterile Processing experiencePrior travel experienceCBSPD or HSPA certification (Required)BLS certification (Required)Roles & Responsibilities:Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and medical equipment following manufacturer's Instructions For Use (IFU).Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize medical devices in accordance with manufacturer's IFUs.Operate automated washers, ultrasonic cleaners, cart washers, and sterilizers as per manufacturer's IFUs.Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of surgical instrumentation during tray assembly.Pull surgical case carts for add-ons and/or emergency cases.Communicate effectively with staff members to facilitate instrument and supply needs in a timely manner.Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of all areas of the department, ensuring logs and product out-dates are maintained.
