Customer Service Representative (CSR)Our Fredericksburg Fuel Plant has a new opportunity for a Customer Service Representative (CSR). A CSR is a people-oriented team member that provides outstanding customer service to support our overall fuel operations in a safe, profitable, and efficient way. We are known for our exceptional customer service and positive work family dynamic, and we're searching for a professional who will share and compliment our values and culture on the Tiger Team.This position will typically work 40 hours a week, working five 8-hour shifts. Days off during the week may change based on business needs, so flexibility is required. During the cold winter season, additional hours/days may be required. This position is full time, benefit eligible.RequirementsServe as a liaison between customers, drivers and technicians, ensuring effective communication and exceptional customer serviceAssist our Logistics and Service managers with coordinating delivery and work orders, gas leak calls, and any other timely customer work needsDevelop and maintain excellent "Tiger Way" customer service to internal and external customersUtilize specialized software programs to monitor and direct drivers and equipment to access and enter financial information including inventory, and to maintain compliance with regulatory agenciesPost delivery tickets, complete service billing and DEF billingReview systems for gas checks and leak checksReconciling and billing load at the rack customersCommunicate with customers, providing account and delivery informationDevelop and maintain efficient processes for delivery and service schedulingPrepare forms, including billings, statements, invoices, receipts, or vendor data, and process delivery ticketsPerform a variety of tasks while working under general supervision in a rapid-pace environmentResponsible for any other tasks and duties as assigned, which may or may not relate to the normal scope of this positionQualifications and Experience1-2 years' experience in direct customer serviceAbility to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writingAssociates degree or equivalent experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at onceComplex problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to interact well with others in a team environmentDisplays a positive, "can-do" attitude and excellent customer services skillsHigh degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)General experience with accounting concepts and software programsFamiliarity with the geography of Charlottesville, Albemarle and surrounding countiesBackground and Drug Screen requiredTiger Fuel values its employees and offers a rich team atmosphere, competitive pay, and a robust benefits package.
