Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and safety of the production facility. This position focuses on electrical troubleshooting, control systems, and preventative maintenance to support continuous manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve PLC programs, HMI systems, and analog/digital controls
• Develop, document, and implement work order procedures for new equipment and system upgrades
• Install, maintain, and calibrate pneumatic and electronic process control instruments
• Repair, clean, and service instrumentation such as pressure switches, flow tubes, and gauges
• Monitor and maintain proper process flow, machine settings, and operating speeds
• Track and record critical process data to ensure compliance with operational standards
• Identify line performance issues and assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
• Install, adjust, and repair production and processing equipment according to specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance through a Planned Maintenance Program (PMP)
• Follow all safety policies, GMP standards, and company procedures
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance and production areas

Skills & Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or certification in maintenance, electrical, or a related field
  • OR 6-12 months of relevant maintenance experience and/or technical training
  • Equivalent combinations of education and hands-on experience will be considered
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document maintenance activities accurately
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a production environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

The plant shutdown varies each year based on when the holidays fall but it is always Christmas Eve through New Year's Day is our shutdown time. President's Day this year was our floating holiday so that is not always the same. For the medical premiums the cost does drop for the following year if they do the biometric screen in October at our on-site wellness fair. That information is listed on page 13 in the benefit guide. There is a wellness program that employees can earn anywhere from $75-$150 based on how many points they earn throughout the year and is paid out to them early January of the following year.
