Job Title Travel RN – Mother Baby / Nursery (Night Shift) Location Salem, VA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Maternity Care Center setting, including labor and delivery, post-partum, and newborn care Manage couplet care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 couplets per nurse; 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural patients Assist with cesarean sections in circulator, first assist, or scrub roles as applicable Perform and support OBED triage, inductions, and midwife-assisted deliveries Utilize Corometrics monitoring equipment and document in Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR systems Float within the unit as needed; no facility-wide floating required Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of OB experience BLS certification required ACLS certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required AWHONN certification required Preferred Experience / Skills Cesarean section experience as circulator, first assist, or scrub technician Energetic, self-directed personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced maternity setting Why Join Us Scrubs are provided by the facility, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for travel staff No on-call requirement for travel staff, with potential opportunity for additional shifts Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776637.
