We work to create the methods and standards for our Industrial Engineering teams to follow, as well as develop and lead initiatives across the company to improve operations, assembly, test, etc. As part of this team, you will be working across Pratt & Whitney to strengthen the Industrial Engineering discipline and deepen our use of IE and lean manufacturing methodologies.What You Will Do:Lead implementation and iteration of enterprise-wide improvement initiativesWork cross-functionally to imbed Industrial Engineering tools and processes in manufacturing or assembly facilitiesStudy product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirementsConduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE)Conduct labor capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OLE)Develop methods to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectivelyRecommend capital investment strategy to meet product delivery and cost targetsEvaluate the effects of schedule and product design changesDesign layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flowParticipating in and leading Kaizen eventsQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 10+ years of prior relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Systems Engineering, or Operations improvement or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management and minimum 7 years’ experienceUS Citizenship is required due to government contractsQualifications We Value:Ability to prioritize many details into a broad view of the total organizationAbility to work effectively with and lead other engineers, technicians, operators, and managementAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processesExperience in various computer software and administrative abilitiesData mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methodsStrong analytical, creative thinking and project management skillsStrong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities.Self-starter and able to work with minimal directionPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.This position is classified as:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
