Gundersen Health System is looking for an energetic and service-minded Central Service Distribution Aide to join our mission-driven team! If you enjoy staying active, solving problems on the fly, and playing a key role in keeping a hospital running smoothly, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact every single day. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports patient care.

What's Available:

• 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)
• Monday-Friday 2nd shift 7pm-11pm (4 hours)
• Every third weekend and two holidays per year: 2:30pm-11pm (8 hours)
• Location: Main Campus - La Crosse
• Department: Distribution
• Shift differentials!

This position has an 8/80 hour flex overtime computation.

What you will do:

• Gain valuable supply chain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting!
• Rotate among several supply & equipment delivery tasks, with frequent changes in priority:
• Provide internal customer service by taking calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent supply & equipment needs.
• Clean and redistribute moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital.
• Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in hospital storage rooms and the OR.
• Ensure the accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• No experience required
• Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally
