Technology Operations Specialist

As a Technology Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in the repair, testing, quality assurance, and inventory management of MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, and iMacs. • Diagnose, repair, and test Apple devices to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads
• Replace defective components and verify device functionality
• Track and maintain incoming inventory for the repair department
• Accurately document repairs, testing results, and inventory activity
• Organize products, parts, and equipment according to company standards
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations
• Support warehouse operations and productivity initiatives
• Follow quality, safety, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and workflow efficiency
• Cross-train in various departments to support business operations

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Interest in technology, electronics, or device repair
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer proficiency

• Experience working with Apple products or consumer electronics
• Familiarity with macOS and iOS
• Electronics repair, testing, or troubleshooting experience
• Inventory, warehouse, or production experience
• Experience working with small tools and components
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection processes

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
