Job Details Our client is seeking a detail-oriented plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal with strong writing, research, and analytical abilities to support a busy litigation practice. In this role, you will assist attorneys throughout the full lifecycle of a case-from initial fact-gathering through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and appellate work. Responsibilities include preparing a wide range of litigation documents, such as Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Notices of Claim, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, settlement papers, and procedural correspondence. You will also help coordinate electronic discovery, maintain organized and up-to-date case records, and track all discovery obligations and court-ordered deadlines. The position involves drafting and filing pleadings, including initiating actions through the preparation of complaints and accompanying investigations (such as verifying property ownership or obtaining pertinent reports for motor-vehicle matters). You will handle service coordination and manage electronic filing through NYSCEF. Additional duties include preparing notices required to commence or preserve claims, as well as drafting routine litigation letters, stipulations, and materials related to default practice.
