What You'll Do
  • Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process in the operating room setting
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery and monitor vital signs throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective surgical care
  • Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including handling specimens and hazardous materials
  • Document procedures accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving unit goals
What You Need
  • Required:

    • Current RN license in Louisiana
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
    • Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing preferred
    • Strong organizational, communication, and delegation skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred:

    • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in nursing
    • Additional certifications in clinical specialties as applicable
