What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within OR settings
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans for surgical patients
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff
Ensure safety and adherence to infection control protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
Support unit and departmental goals through professional practice and teamwork
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and compassionate communication with diverse patient populations

What You Need

Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (from the American Heart Association)
Previous OR nursing experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

Leadership or supervisory experience
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards
