Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that move critical transactional data from source systems into enterprise analytics platforms. The candidate will work across teams to deliver trusted, well-governed, and scalable data solutions supporting analytics, reporting, and emerging data use cases.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience working with financial services/financial clients is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 10 years of related experience , or Master's degree in a related field with 2 8 years of related experience .
• Proven experience as an IT/Data Engineering professional.
• Strong experience building and operating data extraction, ingestion, and processing systems.
• Experience with data modeling techniques and data structures.
• Experience optimizing data for analytics and data science.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Experience integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
• Ability to communicate technical strategies and designs to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and data security.

Skills

• Experience with modern enterprise data platforms, particularly Snowflake .
• Experience with data quality tools such as Ataccama .
• Experience with data integration tools such as AWS Glue, Fivetran, or Informatica IDMC .
• Experience with transactional/source-system data modeling, including 3NF .
• Experience with data pipeline monitoring, observability, and reliability.
• Experience working with financial or transactional datasets in enterprise environments.
